Mask protection grade and wear items of automatic mask equipment manufacturer

  If you have to go out on smoggy days, wearing an anti-haze mask is the main protection measure. Any mask has a certain protective effect, but it is recommended to choose a good protective anti-haze mask. How to choose an anti-haze mask? How to wear an anti-smog mask correctly? What should I pay attention to when wearing an anti-haze mask?

  I. Protection grade of anti-haze mask

  According to national standards, masks are classified into four levels of protection from low to high: D, C, B and A, which correspond to different air quality conditions.

  1. Grade A respirator with the highest protection grade is suitable for use in extremely polluted environments and has the best protection effect. The limit of PM2.5 concentration is less than 500μg/m3, and the maximum limit of PM2.5 exposure is 700μg/m3, which can block more than or equal to 90% of particulate matter.

  2. Protection Grade B respirator is suitable for severe pollution of ambient air quality index and below. The limit of PM2.5 concentration is no more than 350μg/m3, and the maximum limit of PM2.5 exposure is 500μg/m3, filtering harmful particles ≥85%;

  3. Protection Grade C respirator is suitable for severe pollution of ambient air quality index and below. The limit of PM2.5 concentration is no more than 250μg/m3, and the maximum limit of PM2.5 concentration allowed exposure is 300μg/m3, filtering harmful particles ≥75%;

  4. Grade D protective mask with the lowest protection grade has poor blocking effect on particulate matter. It is suitable for moderate pollution of ambient air quality index and below pollution, the limit of PM2.5 concentration is no more than 150μg/m3, and the maximum limit of PM2.5 exposure is 200μg/m3, filtering harmful particulate matter ≥65%;

  II. Precautions for wearing anti-haze masks

  Anti-haze masks of different levels of protection should be prepared and worn depending on the weather. It's not that a mask with a higher filter is ideal, because the higher the filter, the more resistance the wearer feels. When inhalation resistance is too large, people will feel dizziness, chest tightness and other uncomfortable conditions. Wearing a mask with high respiratory resistance for a long time will have adverse effects on health.

  When wearing an anti-haze mask, follow the instructions. When wearing, the nose, mouth and chin must be completely covered and the mask should be closely fitted to the face. The better the sealing, the better the protective effect.

  Not everyone is suitable to wear an anti-smog mask. The close-fitting structure and filtering material of the mask can increase breathing resistance and reduce comfort. Any anti-smog mask that does not fit 100 percent of the face is not safe from PM2.5.
